Dedicated to St Martin in 1243. In use until 1775 when new church was built. Oldest part appears to be the SE facing gable, which may be part of the early church built in 13th century. A mason's mark is evident on it. The SW facing wall is of a later build with several phases evident. The NE and NW facing walls are later still. A masons' mark was noted on a small cross in the NE corner of the church. Recording not undertaken by Project.
