Five masons' marks were recorded during renovation work on 23-35 High Street Dunfermline in 2011. They were photographed by the builder undertaking the work and submitted to Fife Council Archaeology Service. Three different masons are evident from the five marks, although there is a strong resemblance, apart from some additional marks, so may belong to a family of masons working in the late 18th-19th century. | | |
